Kylee’s body of work up to this point is the tentative exploration of composition in forlorn cityscapes. Pulling inspiration from the environment of New Orleans - a city in the constant cycle of birth and decay laminated with life and death - Kylee tries to capture moments of appreciation for derelict houses, memorable building facades, night scenes, and the abundant flora that populates the city lying in wait to overtake the iconic port on the Mississippi once again.
